Can I make Installshield think my OS is XP ?

Hello, I have a GIS software package that is distributed as an Installshield executable. It will not load on my clean install because it says that my OS is too old. I am assuming it does not recognize the Vista OS designation. I have run the software without problems on an upgrade but unfortunately, I did this clean install not forseeing this problem.

I'm wondering if someone could please help provide a solution to this problem. I was hoping there might be a Registry key change that I could make temporarily such as when IE7 beta had to spoof sites into thinking it was IE6.

Justin;Did you try Compatibility Mode:Right click the executableClick PropertiesClick Compatibility tab

Otherwise contact the software manufacturer and ask about Vista compatibility.
